Once you have submitted your profile, you will receive a message in your account welcoming you to the Express Entry pool.
The welcome message looks something like this. It will include your Express Entry profile number and Job Seeker Validation Code.
Make sure to write down your profile number and Job Seeker Validation Code for future reference.

If you received an Express Entry profile number but did not receive your Job Seeker Validation Code, you can reach out to IRCC through their case-specific enquiry form.
Congratulations! You have just completed a very important milestone in the Express Entry process and are now officially in the Express Entry pool of candidates.
Your profile is awarded a CRS score based on the information you provided, which is used to rank you against other candidates in the Express Entry pool.
If you are one of the highest ranked candidates in the Express Entry pool when a draw occurs, you will be invited to apply for permanent residence.
In the next module, we will explore what you can do while you wait for invitation rounds from the Express Entry pool to occur.
